The WA Electoral Commission has officially declared the successful candidates of the 2025 Local Government Election this morning 20 Oct 2025 under s.477 of the Local Government Act (1995)(WA)(CI). The successful candidates are Cr Tracey KREPP, Cr Stephanie LAI and Cr Gordon THOMSON. Their terms commence today, through to Oct 20 2029.

At the Special Council Meeting of today 20th October 2025, the Council elected Cr PEREIRA as the Shire President, and Cr TUNG as the Deputy President.
