The Shire has received and is currently assessing a planning application to use/develop the above land for Telecommunications Facility purposes and public comments are invited on the proposal.

Details / Plans of the proposal are available for public viewing at the Shire Offices (George Fam Centre 2 Murray Road, Christmas Island.

Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending 4pm Thursday 25 February 2026. Comments on the proposal must be submitted to the Shire in writing on or before that day.

Pihak Shire telah menerima dan sedang menilai permohonan perancangan untuk menggunakan/membangunkan tanah di atas untuk tujuan Kemudahan Telekomunikasi dan ulasan orang ramai adalah dipelawa mengenai cadangan tersebut.

Butiran / Pelan cadangan tersedia untuk tontonan umum di Pejabat Shire (George Fam Centre 2 Murray Road, Pulau Krismas.

Penyerahan boleh dibuat ke atas cadangan dalam tempoh berakhir 4 petang Khamis 25 Februari 2026. Ulasan mengenai cadangan mesti dikemukakan kepada Shire secara bertulis pada atau sebelum hari tersebut.
