The Shire is pleased to announce the opening of the Foreshore Splash Pad at 11.30am Saturday 1st October 2022.

The Splash Pad can be activated by pushing the start button on the blue bollard this will activate the pad for 5 minutes after which the button needs to be pushed again.

The hours of operation that it can be activated are between noon and 6pm daily.

As it is not a water recycle system there needs to monitor the water usage.

The department of Infrastructure is supporting the water usage with an agreed funding amount annually to the Shire.

Should the water usage become excessive or during water restriction periods the hours of operation will be adjusted accordingly.

When the dual pedestrian bike path is being constructed through that area it may be closed during that construction period.
