Due to a surface failure to the large halfpipe, it has been necessary to close that off for public use.

The Shire of Christmas Island is in discussion with the supplier to identify solutions to this issue.

One of the possible solutions is to move from a fabricated structure to a concrete structure layout of the park, to this extent the Shire is seeking possible suggestions as to a layout of concrete park design if that option is adopted.

Shire of Christmas Island sedang berbincang dengan pembekal untuk mengenal pasti penyelesaian bagi menangani masalah ini.

Salah satu penyelesaian yang sedang dipertimbangkan adalah menukar struktur sedia ada yang diperbuat daripada komponen fabrikasi kepada susun atur taman luncur berstruktur konkrit. Sehubungan itu, pihak Shire ingin mendapatkan cadangan daripada orang ramai mengenai reka bentuk dan susun atur taman luncur konkrit sekiranya pilihan tersebut dilaksanakan.
