APRIL-MAY ENGAGEMENT WORKSHOP FOR THE 2023-2033 STRATEGIC COMMUNITY PLAN
Public Notice 09/23
April 20, 2023
The Council commenced its statutory 10 Year Strategic Community Plan process with a workshop kick-off at the Recreation Centre on 19 April and the launch of a survey to help inform it.
To ensure that a WA Local Government’s 10 Year Plan aligns with the goal of its community over the next decade, it seeks input from its residents to provide direction.
An initial first draft of the Plan is available on www.shire.gov.cx, alongside the survey to help Council learn about priorities in Community Health and Well-Being, Economic Development, Land-Use Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Sustainability and Theme Questions to help prompt open discussion and input.
Notes from discussions on facilitated meetings will also be made on the Shire’s website as they happen. Be informed and participate!
Shire aims to complete the Plan by mid-year. The Shire encourages participating in the online survey as a starting point and to come to one of the following scheduled facilitated workshops for residents.
Sunday 23rd April 10am – noon, Shire Chambers, George Fam building
Sunday 30th April 10am – noon, Shire Chambers, George Fam building
Sunday 7th May 10am – noon, Shire Chambers, George Fam building
