The Shire of Christmas Island wishes to advise that the above activity will be conducted on Sunday 19th July 2026 from 7:00am – 11:00am along a route from the Christmas Island Casino Resort to the Cove

We wish to advise the residents of Christmas Island that the Shire has erected new speed limit signs in and around the roads of Christmas Island.

In accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995 (WA, CI) notice is hereby given for the temporary closure of Sung Miaw Low to all traffic from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday the 25th of June for the Sheng Wong’s God Birthday Celebrations. The extent of the closure is between Lam Lok Loh to Jalan Ketam Merah.

Council has adopted the Fees & Charges for the financial year 2026/27. The Fees & Charges were adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 16 June 2026.
