The Contractor engaged by the Shire to implement a staged program for the control on the number of chickens will be visiting Christmas Island on 23rd March for 1 week.

Recording of the Shire’s Council Meetings will begin on the 17 March 2026 Ordinary Meeting of Council.

The Shire will close its offices at 12 noon on Thursday 19 March 2026 (half day) and will be closed all day on Friday 20 March 2026 for Hari Raya Puasa Public Holiday and Monday 23 March for Labour Day Public Holiday 2026.
