The Shire wishes to advise the community of the remove of a large tree beside the CLA carpark.

The root system of the tree is now adversely affecting the integrity of the retaining wall and the CLA ocean side cement pad infrastructure and potentially other underground services infrastructure.

The Shire does not take this position lightly, we are committed to not only protecting shade trees on CI but also have a program of planting saplings within community areas.

The Shire has plans for the development of the area in front of the CLA ocean side and the protection of the retaining wall and the CLA outside cement pad is essential in providing the CI community with an enhanced recreational space in that area.

Upon the removal of the tree the Shire will plant appropriate saplings in that area that will not damage the associated infrastructure when mature.

Pembuangan Pokok Besar di Tempat Parking Kereta CLA

Shire ingin mengumumkan kepada masyarakat tentang pembuangan pokok besar di sebelah tempat parking kereta CLA.

Sistem akar pokok itu kini memberi kesan buruk kepada integriti dinding penahan dan infrastruktur pad simen sisi lautan CLA dan kemungkinan infrastruktur perkhidmatan bawah tanah yang lain.
